How PonSters works
1,000 pixel monsters that live and die, fully on-chain on Robinhood Chain. Mint one, raise it, and make it immortal — or bury it.
What is PonSters?
PonSters is a collection of 1,000 procedural pixel monsters on Robinhood Chain (chain 4663). Each one starts life as a sealed egg you mint. From there it's a tamagotchi with real stakes: feed it and raise it into an immortal Adult, or neglect it and it starves for good.
The art and the entire game — feeding, evolution, boosters, death — live inside the smart contract. No server, no IPFS, no database. If the chain is up, your PonSter is alive.
Minting
- 1,000 sealed eggs. Identical on the outside — every one hatches into a different species, traits and rarity, hidden until you raise it.
- Price: … per egg.
- Max 8 per wallet.
The 4 stages
Every PonSter grows through four stages. Reach the last one and it becomes IMMORTAL — it can never die again.
- Egg → Baby: feed it 2× to hatch.
- Baby → Teen: 4 feeds and 2 days of age.
- Teen → Adult: 8 feeds and 5 days of age → immortal.
Boosters add "growth hours" that count toward the age requirement — that's how you rush to Adult faster (at a risk).
Feeding & death
- Three flavors — Berry, Fish, Leaf. Feeding refills hearts and keeps your pet alive.
- 3 hearts max. It loses one heart every 12 hours it isn't fed. Hit 0 hearts and it dies — permanently. All that's left is a tombstone.
- A feed only counts toward evolution once every 4h (the cooldown). Feeding in between still refills hearts, it just doesn't speed up growth.
Boosters
The shop sells risky shortcuts. Each one adds growth hours (and some count as meals) — but most can hurt or kill your PonSter on a bad roll. Every booster costs ETH and burns $ TOKEN 🔥.
Token & burn
PonSters can use a project token as its in-game currency. Every mint and every booster burns a fixed amount of it — the tokens are destroyed forever, so the more the game is played, the more supply is removed. It's deflationary by design.
The ETH side of each purchase goes to the treasury; the token side is burned. Both happen in the same on-chain transaction.
Fully on-chain
Art and logic both live in the contract — rendered from an on-chain seed, no external files. Ownership, feeding, evolution and death are all enforced by the chain.
